The Department of Statistical Sciences and Operations Research is sponsoring class on basic computer skills on May 30, 2015 in partnership with Hannah’s Women, Inc. Project Brothers and Sisters: Educating the Community Initiative. The class is free to members of the community and will provide basic tips and information for tackling Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as, a fun, interactive session on how to use Google Docs and Social Media. Refreshments will be provided.
Registration and continental breakfast begin at 8:15 am and the class begins at 9:00 am and lasts until 4:00 pm. The class is offered as a College of Humanities and Sciences Great Place Initiative/Department of Statistical Sciences and Operations Research community project.
