The Alexandrian Society, with the support of the History Department, will welcome Dr. Caroline Emmons from Hampden-Sydney College on Thursday November 17th as part of their fall lecture. Dr. Emmons’ talk on A Tremendous Job To Be Done: African American Women in the Virginia Civil Rights Movement, will begin at 4:00PM in the Forum Room of the Student Commons.
